Founder and Owner of IowanInfluence, lifelong gym junkie, mother of cats, Christian, and devoted wife to my husband, Zach. 

We’ve been together for over 15 years, and have built a life around the things we cherish most — our cats, the gym, and gaming together. That same love for connection and shared experiences is a huge part of what inspired this business.

IowanInfluence started in 2024 out of my appreciation for the Midwest and hometown in Southwest Iowa, Council Bluffs. Our winters may be harsh, but the colors of fall and spring, and what summer days look like from the seat of a stripped-down Wrangler, make it worth it. The rolling green hills, wild prairies, and as far as the eye can see fields of corn are truly beautiful if you've never been.

What started out as a crochet and baked goods hobby, with a successful craft show here and there, turned into making custom blankets for friends and family. As much as I love crochet, it's a very time-consuming craft that takes a significant toll on your wrists. But I love the feeling I get when someone sees their thoughtfully crafted piece for the first time. So, I wanted to start something that recreates that feeling—but in a way that’s more sustainable.
